Motorcycle rider killed in Westside Rd. collision

One person was killed in a crash on Westside Road on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services personnel responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision in the 1100-block of Westside Road, just north of the West Kelowna turnoff, around 3:45 p.m., May 13.

RCMP say the early investigation determined a northbound motorcycle entered speed wobbles, crossed the centre line, and collided head-on with a southbound pickup truck.

The rider, a 57-year-old Vernon man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
