Original story:

Mounties descended on a Kelowna neighbourhood Wednesday morning as they investigate what they are calling an unfolding and isolated incident.

Kelowna RCMP says officers were called to a residence in the 600-block of Ziprick Road, between Highway 33 and Springfield Road.

While details remain limited, police say the incident appears to involve only a single home.

Out of an abundance of caution, residents and bystanders in the area are being asked to remain indoors or avoid the neighbourhood entirely until the situation is resolved.
