Funtastic 2025 to feature Canadian Country Music Rising Star and Breakthrough award winner

A Canadian musician who has earned some awards in his relatively new career will take the stage for Funtastic this summer.

Funtastic Sports Society announced the lineup for the music festival that will go June 27-30, 2025, stating Nate Haller will headline the country music show Saturday.

Haller is from Waterloo, Ontario, and started his musical career in 2021 with the release of his debut single, Lightning in a Bottle.

In 2022 he earned the Rising Star award from the Canadian Country Music Association, and in 2023 earned the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award from that organization.

Opening for Haller Saturday will be the Shawn lightfoot Band and American Rock Legends.

Friday’s show will open with performances by the Feels and the Dirt Road Kings, with the pop-metal band Reckless headlining that evening.

Sunday’s show will see The Young-Un’s take the stage, followed by a performance by Spirit of Shania, and closing with the jazz-rock group Dreams.

Ticket sales for the Funtastic Slo Pitch and A&W Music Festival went live Monday, January 27.
