Police responding to serious incident in Kelowna

Police in Kelowna were responding to a serious, undisclosed incident early Friday morning.

Kelowna RCMP and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team responded to reports of a serious incident in the 700 block of Saucier Ave. at approximately 4:15 a.m., Jan. 24.

One person in unknown condition was taken to hospital.

An area on Saucier Ave. remained taped off as of 9 a.m. as police continued the investigation.

Mounties said the incident does not pose a risk to the public.
