Contract awarded for Silver Star Road roundabout

Construction of a new traffic control measure in Vernon will begin in the coming months as a contract has been signed.

The City of Vernon awarded the contract to build the roundabout at the intersection of Silver Star Road and Phoenix Drive to Chapman Industries Ltd.

Construction of the roundabout will begin in the spring of 2025.

The city was still finalizing the project schedule and traffic management plans, and once those are complete the public will be informed about the work timeline and traffic interruptions.
