Vipers trade goalie for future considerations

The Vernon Vipers have parted ways with a netminder.

The Vipers traded goalie Colin Reay to the Prince George Spruce Kinds for future considerations Monday, Dec. 2.

Reay joined the Vipers in the 2022-23 season and played in 31 games in his time with the Vernon BCHL team.

The team said he showed dedication and leadership both on and off the ice, adding he had been a valuable member of the Vipers during that season and a half.

“It’s never easy to move a player with Colin’s character,” Vipers Head Coach, Lukas Lomicky, said.
