Resurfacing work on Kalamalka Lake Road extended

The work to repair Kalamalka Lake Road will take more time than originally planned.

The City of Vernon said crews will be returning to the site to complete the asphalt surface repairs as early as 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The work will require the road to be reduced to two lanes of traffic between 14th Avenue and Highway 6.

The work is expected to take a week to complete, weather permitting.

Access to residences and businesses will be maintained.
