RCMP searching for suspect in parking lot break and enter

Police in Vernon are seeking information on a suspect in a break and enter and theft.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said a male suspect broke into an underground parking lot of a residential building in the 7300-block of Okanagan Landing Rd. shortly after midnight on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Once inside, the suspect entered and stole items from unlocked vehicles.

Police released a photo of the suspect, who appeared to be a Caucasian male wearing a black or dark blue hat with a yellow logo, and a black jacket with a red logo.

He was also driving what appeared to be a silver sedan with a rack on the back.

“We’re releasing these images hoping someone will be able to identify them,” Constable Chris Terleski, Media Relations Officer for the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, said.

“If you recognize the person or the vehicle in the photos, please contact Constable Dupuis of the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at (250) 545-7171 and quote file #2024-17820.”
