Police recovered nearly two dozen weapons in a search of a Lake Country residence.
Lake Country RCMP, with assistance of the Southeast District Emergency Response team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Pheasant Rd. Thursday, Oct. 24.
In the search, police discovered and seized 20 firearms, as well as stolen property.
“The RCMP appreciate the public’s cooperation by staying out of the area and for observing road blocks during that time as this enabled our officers to execute the search warrant in a safe manor for all involved,” Media Relations Officer Sergeant Laura Pollock said.
