Former Vernon doctor due back in court on for trial decision

A former doctor charged with assault and sexual assault is scheduled to return to Vernon court next month.

Peter Inkpen was sentenced to over five years in prison on an assault charge and a combined six months of jail time for two sexual assault counts this past July. Those incidents reportedly occurred between 2018 and 2020.

The B.C. Prosecution Service said Inkpen will attend the courts on Nov. 26, where the judge will pronounce the trial decisions.
