Applications being accepted fro Sustainable Grants Program

The City of Vernon has launched it’s fall intake for the Sustainable Grants program.

Community groups, organizations and non-profits can submit an application for funding of up to $2,000 to support projects that enhance environmental resilience at the local level.

“Now more than ever, it’s essential to support grassroots sustainability efforts,” Victor Cumming, Mayor of Vernon, said.

“The Sustainability Grants program empowers residents to come together and turn their ideas into small, enjoyable projects that benefit our entire community.”
