Four candidates confirmed for Vernon-Lumby riding
The upcoming provincial election will have a handful of names on the ballot for the local riding.
ElectionsBC closed its candidates nomination period Saturday, Sept. 28, and announced there are four people in the running for the Vernon-Lumby MLA seat.
Incumbent New Democrat MLA Harwinder Sandhu will be on the ballot, alongside Dennis Giesbrecht, the candidate for the Conservative Part of B.C.; the Independent candidate Kevin Acton; and Robert Johnson of the Libertarian Party. There was no Green Party member named for the local riding.
Meanwhile, the new Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream riding will also see four names on the ballot.
