Police seek information on suspect in property damage investigation

RCMP in Vernon are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in an ongoing investigation.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said an unknown man gained entry to a residential building in the 2800-block of 34th Street in Vernon at approximately 11 a.m. Sept. 4.

Staff were able to get the man to leave, but on the way out he allegedly damaged some property.

He had left the scene before police arrived.

The suspect has yet to be identified, so police released this photo with the hopes that a member of the public would come forward with information on the man’s identity.
