Arrest made in Vernon break and enter

A man is facing charges stemming from an alleged break and enter in Vernon.

RCMP said a report of a glass alarm break at a business in the 2400-block of 39th Street was received shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10.

Officers attended the scene and found that someone had smashed the front window of a business and stole a number of items before fleeing the scene.

Police obtained a description of the suspect and searched the area, leading to the man being found and arrested.
