Cancelled Canada Day drone show rescheduled for during Sundog Festival

The drone show that was supposed to go to wrap up the Canada Day celebrations in Vernon has been rescheduled.
The drone show was cancelled following technical difficulties after an antenna was damaged on the evening of July 1, 2024, much to the dismay of the public and organizing body, the VOICE Society.
However, the organizers now say the show will go on September 21, as part of the Sundog Festival.
The show will feature 240 drones, and the VOICE Society said will be a first-of-its kind show in the Okanagan and provide an “unforgettable aerial performance” that will light up the night sky.
