Vernon Aquatic Centre to shutdown for annual maintenance

Vernon’s indoor pool will be closed temporarily for a few weeks toward the end of the summer.
The city says the Aquatics Centre will be shutdown from August 26 to September 15 for preventative maintenance and repairs to the system that can’t be completed while the facility is open to the public.
The work will include tile repairs, pool filter maintenance, and other projects.
The Recreation Centre office will stay open to the public between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, while the work is done.
