A man facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of a woman in Lumby will be due back in court at the end of the month.

Vitali Stefanski, charged in the death of his ex-wife Tatjana Stefanski, appeared in Vernon Law Courts Thursday, August 15, to meet with his counsel.

Tatjana was allegedly abducted from her home in Lumby on April 13, 2024, and her body was found in a rural location the following day.

The B.C. Prosecution Service said the case was adjourned until August 29. The accused and his counsel will be due in court that day to review further disclosure.
