Police investigating after window smashed at Vernon library

An investigation has been launched into a smashed window at the Vernon branch of the Okanagan Regional Library.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP said the broken window was reported to police around noon on July 6.

Staff discovered the damage that morning, and police said it was believed the window was smashed the previous night.

No suspects had been identified and the investigation was ongoing.

The RCMP noted it did not appear that entry was gained into the library and there were no reports of theft.
