Bear and her cubs visit backyard

This is a picture sent to Vernon Matters from Christie Brown of a mother bear and her three cubs playing in Brown’s back yard on Swan Lake off Old Kamloops Road.

Brown said the bears were about 50 feet from their back deck.

“It was a special sight, for sure,” Brown said.
