Public invited to try shooting & archery for National Range Day

The Vernon Fish and Game Club invites the public to visit the club’s shooting range as part of National Range Day on Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be demonstrations of shooting sports and the opportunity to participate in archery and shooting pistols and rifles at a variety of interactive targets.

Members of the Vernon Fish & Game Club welcome ages 5 and up, who may or may not have had any previous experience with firearms, to come out to a family-friendly environment that will be very safe, but relaxed at the same time.

Fully supervised events showcasing numerous types of shooting styles and disciplines are occurring throughout the day, and if you have ever wanted to try shooting with guidance and instruction in a safe environment, there will be plenty of opportunities.

● One-on-one instruction provided

● No experience necessary

● Eye & ear protection provided

● No private firearms

● No pets

The shooting range is located at 202 Bardolph Lake Forest Service Road,a 4 kilometer drive from Highway 6 in Lavington.

Follow the yellow signs on Noble Canyon Road and Bardolph Lake FSR.
