Precautionary water notice rescinded

People in Grindrod no longer need to be concerned with the quality of their water.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO), in partnership with Interior Health, rescinded a precautionary boil water notice for Grindrod Water Monday, April 29.
The RDNO said planned construction work did not cause a loss of pressure and the water system’s operations have returned to normal.
The regional district added that tap water may appear cloudy and there may be some air in pipes, and encourages people run their cold water taps until the water becomes clear.
