A snowfall warning remains in effect for the North and Central Okanagan including Vernon and Kelowna, along with the Shuswap and North Thompson.

Environment Canada is forecasting snow changing to a few rain showers and flurries near noon on Sunday with snowfall amounts up to 10 cm.

For tonight, periods of snow mixed with rain are expected with a further 2 to 4 cm and the snow should end early Monday morning.

A snowfall warning has been issued for the North Okanagan and surrounding area.

Environment Canada said snow would start to fall Saturday night in the North and Central Okanagan, as well as the Shuswap and North Thompson.

The snow is expected to fall until Sunday afternoon, with about 10 to 15 cm accumulating over that period.

The weather agency reminds people to adjust their driving habits to account for changing road conditions.
