Crews repairing damaged Vernon traffic signal

The traffic lights at one Vernon intersection may ot be working properly for part of Saturday.

The city issued a news release at around 8 a.m. saying that crews were repairing a damaged traffic signal controller at the intersection of 41st Street and 25th Avenue. The signals were without power at that point.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.

“Motorists are asked to slow down and use extra caution when approaching the intersection,” the news release stated.
