Snowfall warning issued

A snowfall warning has been issued for the Okanagan, with Environment Canada forecasting 10 to 20 cm’s over the next two days.

“A cold front will combine with a Pacific low pressure system and bring snow, heavy at times into southern B.C.,” the weather agency stated.

Environment Canada said the snow will start late tonight and will become heavy at times overnight, continuing Wednesday, before tapering off Wednesday night.

The snowfall warning is also in effect for the Fraser Canyon, Nicola, Similkameen and for the Hope-Princeton Highway.
