The $150 benefit of the Advantage Program

Whether it’s the post-holidays time of year or the economy overall, an opportunity to save on purchases is always welcome. Many locals who can access the IRIS Advantage Program may not be aware it extends to family members as well.

“It’s $150 off any pair of glasses through IRIS,” said Dr. Mark Langer from IRIS Optometrists and Opticians. “That’s in addition to whatever their extended benefits might cover.

Dr. Langer gave us a short list of just a few of the organizations already included. “It’s a great program that we have established with a lot of companies in town and throughout BC. If you work for Tolco, Karp, Kal Tire, Interior Health, BC Public School teachers, Save On Foods, the Veterans Associations…”

“Plus any business that’s part of the Chamber of Commerce. As long as your chamber dues are paid, essentially you’re already signed up for the Advantage Program.”

The offer also extends to any family members living under the same roof. Taking advantage of $150 each for multiple family members can quickly add up to significant savings for a household.

• prescription sunglasses
• contact lenses
• prescription safety eyewear
• some savings on non-prescription sunglasses

To make things even easier, you don’t need to have had your eye exam done by IRIS to have your prescription filled with them or to take advantage of the savings program.
