No luck versus Bucks: Vipers end first half of season with loss
The Vernon Vipers are now on a two-week break for the holidays after a disappointing end to the first half of their BC Hockey League season.
The Snakes lost 3-1 to the Cranbrook Bucks before 1,662 fans at Western Financial Place in the East Kootenay Friday night, the Vipers fourth straight loss.
Isaac Tremblay scored Vernon’s lone goal with less than 5 minutes to play in the third period in what was a strong performance from Bucks goalie, and the game’s first star, Braedyn McIntosh, a 20-year-old out of Milton, Ont.
He made 41 saves while the Vipers started Ethan David in net and replaced him with Colin Reay after the Bucks second goal in the second period.
