Eyeing the calendar-a year-end bonus on glasses & contacts

December can be a jam-packed month, but $150 savings is good reason to fit in a trip to IRIS Optometrists and Opticians.

“Right up to December 31st, we have a program that allows an additional $150 off a new set of glasses or lenses,” said Dr. Mark Langer. “And that’s in addition to whatever benefits you have. So, if you have $200 in benefits, now you have $350 in coverage.”

It’s also available to people who don’t have any extended health benefits. “Everyone has access to this program,” Dr. Langer pointed out.

For people who do have extended health benefits, it’s an added incentive to get prescriptions filled soon if they have unused vision benefits to use in 2023. “Even if you had your eye exam elsewhere, feel free to stop in,” said Dr. Langer. “We have awesome staff, and they’d love to help you find the perfect pair of glasses before the new year.”

Along with filling your prescription on a set of glasses, here are a few other ways to take advantage of this program:

  • A handy second pair of reading glasses to leave at the office
  • Prescription sunglasses to protect your eyes from UV rays
  • Sports glasses specifically designed for athletes on the move
  • Computer glasses to reduce eyestrain during extended periods of screen time
  • Stocking up on your contact lenses

IRIS Optometrists and Opticians is in the Village Green Shopping Centre.
