Struck signed: Vernon Vipers add U.S.-born forward
The Vernon Vipers expect to have Payton Struck in their lineup for this weekend’s games against Merritt and Salmon Arm after signing the American product.
Struck, from Rogers, Minnesota, spent the first part of the season with the Ogden Mustangs of the National Collegiate Development Conference of the US Premier Hockey League where he netted 9 goals with 14 assists in 23 games.
“Payton is a competitive player that plays the game with pace and skill,” Jason McKee, Vipers head coach and GM, said. “We look forward to the added depth he will bring to our forward group.”
Struck is 6’1, 175 pounds and shoots right.
