Vipers win big over Bucks, two players net hat tricks
The Vernon Vipers hit double digits on the scoreboard for the first time this BC Hockey League season in a 10-2 blow-out over the Cranbrook Bucks Wednesday night.
Adam Csabi and newcomer Nick Mikan both netted hat tricks for Vernon before a home-town crowd of 1,472 fans at Kal Tire Place.
The Vipers jumped out to a 5-0 lead by the 12 minute mark of the first period as they improved their record to 10 wins and 4 losses, good enough for second place in the Interior Division behind the Penticton Vees.
Hank Cleaves added 4 assists for the Snakes who got 34 saves from goaltender Ethan David.
