Last call for some rebates – the details from Bee’s Knees

If you’ve been considering rebates to save money on some upgrades to your home, December 31 is a deadline you need to know.
We spoke with Kevin Ukkonen, owner of Bee’s Knees Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical to find out more.

“Fortis has some rebates out for high-efficiency furnaces and high-efficiency tankless water heaters, and some of those rebates are going to be expiring at the end of the year.”

Up to $1,000 back on tankless water heaters, $800-$1000 on furnaces, and up to $1000 on boilers make it worth a homeowner’s time to look into the rebates while they’re still available.

Bee’s Knees is committed to helping customers make that deadline.

“We can generally get someone out to have a look at your equipment fairly quickly. Usually within a few days, sometimes that same day or the next.” He continued, “We assess your equipment, and tell you a good option, and at the same time tell you what other rebates you’re eligible for.”

This assessment by Bee’s Knees Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical comes with no obligation. Ukkonen points out that knowing prices and specific details about the rebates can help homeowners make a decision. Bee’s Knees ensures the estimates show not only clear pricing but also what rebates you’re eligible for.

“Reaching out to us is a good first step, and we help any way we can. Either talk to us, or go on the Fortis website.”

All the residential furnaces Bee’s Knees carries fall into the high-efficiency category that’s required for the Fortis rebates. Further savings are also available on furnaces from York. The manufacturer has added discounts on labour warranties for Bee’s Knees customers.
