Weapons complaint leads to seizure of firearm, drugs and bikes
A firearm, drugs, cash and a large number of bikes were seized after a search in Vernon stemming from a weapons complaint.
Vernon North Okanagan RCMP responded to the complaint at a residence in the 1600-block of 33rd Street (Mission Hill area) on the evening of Friday, Oct. 13.
Police attended the initial call where a number of people were taken into custody, including one person with a warrant. A stolen bicycle was also found in the garage.
The scene was held and a search warrant was obtained so officers could enter the premises.
