New Vernon-Coldstream transit route to launch next year

A new transit route that will service Middleton Mountain in Vernon and Coldstream will launch in 2024.

The new ‘Route 10’ will provide service between the downtown exchange and Okanagan College. The actual start date has not been announced.

Coldstream council received a report at its meeting Oct. 10 that included the previously endorsed 2021 Vernon Regional Transit System Action Plan.

The District of Coldstream has been setting funding aside for the service expansion, and there are no tax implications on residents until 2025.
