A Vernon car dealership has shown its appreciation to a social agency for its recent efforts to help people in crisis.
Bannister Honda has donated $10,000 to the Vernon Salvation Army in recognition of their efforts and assistance during this summer’s wildfires and support efforts.
In accepting the donation, Neil Thompson of Vernon’s Salvation Army said their main focus during this crisis was supporting the volunteers and evacuees — including their pets — with food, drink and clothing.
“Bannister Honda is proud to donate this small amount and thank Neil and his team for their outstanding efforts, and support of our community,” Pat Loehndorf, GM/Partner Bannister Honda, said.
