RCMP seeking witnesses of fatal crash

RCMP are looking for any witnesses to a crash last week in Kelowna that claimed a man’s life.

On Thursday, August 3, at around 7:46 p.m., RCMP attended a single vehicle collision at Springfield Road at Quigley Road involving a black Kia Soul.

The male driver, who was alone in the vehicle, died as a result of his injuries.

RCMP spoke to witnesses on scene but police are asking others to come forward that either saw the vehicle or have home security footage prior to the collision.  The vehicle was observed driving on Gerstmar Road before the crash.

If witnesses have dash camera video that could possibly assist with this investigation, they are asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP non-emergency line at (250) 762-3300 and reference file 2023-45432.
