Cruisin’ in the city: Sun Valley Cruise-In celebrates milestone event

It’s the event that car enthusiasts have been revving their engines about for months

The Sun Valley Cruise-In will be held this weekend in Vernon, with sunshine in the forecast, and the event celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Car shows will be held on 30th Avenue in downtown Vernon from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and in Polson Park on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“The day is packed with food vendors, exhibitors, live music, a pin-up pageant and a wide variety of cars, trucks and motorcycles.”

The event is put on by volunteers.
