Vernon hockey product ranks on NHL Central Scouting

Following a banner season with the Tri-City Americans in the Western Hockey League, Vernon native Deagan McMillan is on the radar of NHL scouts.

McMillan, appears on Central Scouting’s list for the first time, at 108th among North American skaters.

The six-foot-two, 196-pound forward totaled 47 points (17-30-47) through 65 games played this season. Improving from just seven points (3-4-7) over 45 games last year.

NHL Central Scouting released its 2022-23 Final Rankings for the upcoming NHL Draft today.  Fifty-four total players from the Western Hockey League were recognized.
