The North Okanagan has seen an unusual snowfall pattern over the last 24 hours.

While Vernon got basically no snow, reports from Beach Radio listeners say the Armstrong area got 5 to 10 centimetres since Tuesday.

The O’Keefe Ranch in nearby Spallumcheen reportedly got no snow, while Coldstream got 1 to 2 cm’s.

Winter also made a return to Falkland.

“It’s -15 here and my daughter is out plowing all the snow we got yesterday. With a tractor not a shovel. We got tons of snow. Want some?,” a Falkland resident told Beach Radio.

Silver Star, which has received about 80 cm’s of snow over the last week, got another 6 cm’s overnight.
