Podollan joins Beach Radio’s Vipers broadcast team

There is a new addition to Vernon Vipers broadcasts on 107.5 Beach Radio this season.

Vernon’s very own, Jason Podollan, will be working with Graham Turnbull on home games, providing colour commentary that draws on his days as an NHL player, and currently as a mental performance coach.

Podollan was drafted 31st overall in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers from the Western Hockey League’s Spokane Chiefs. He played in 41 games in the NHL with the Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, and New York Islanders.

Podollan started his junior career with the Penticton Panthers in 1991-92 before making the jump to the WHL.

Podollan will work with Turnbull on three of the Vipers upcoming four home games, starting this Friday against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks at 7 p.m., with the pre-game show at 6:45.
