Vipers fall to 0-3 after loss in PG

The Vernon Vipers are still looking for their first win of the BC Hockey League season after a 4-2 loss to the Prince George Spruce Kings Friday night.

The Spruce Kings connected on three of their 10 power play opportunities to get the win in their home opener at the Kopar Memoria Arena before 1,355 fans.

Luke Pakulak and Isaac Tremblay scored for Vernon (0-3), both on the power play.

Roan Clarke made 27 in taking the loss in net.

The game featured one scrap with Griffen Barr of the Vipers and Charlie Banquier of the Kings in the third period.

The teams play again tonight in Prince George, a game you can hear on 107.5 Beach Radio with Graham Turnbull starting at 6:45 p.m.
