Video helps cops arrest business break-in suspect

A suspected thief was caught on camera busting into a Vernon business.
Police were called to an unnamed business in the 4900 block of Anderson Way around 2:30 this morning (Sept. 21) on a report of a break in.
Officers found someone had smashed the front door of the store and stole a number of items before fleeing.
“Using viewing video surveillance from inside the building, investigators obtained a description of the suspect that was shared with officers conducting patrols in the area,” said Const. Chris Terleski, media relations officer. “Shortly after, the suspect was located and arrested in they alleyway of a nearby business.”
