COVID-19 cases rising in Vernon

The B.C. Centre for Disease Control is reporting further increases to local COVID-19 numbers.

The weekly report from the BCCDC shows there were 25 confirmed cases of the virus in the Vernon health area between Sept. 4 and 10.

That’s up from the 23 cases reported the week before.

The cases confirmed in the latest weekly report are the most on record since the week of May 15 to 21, when 32 cases were identified in Greater Vernon.
