Silver Star Road pathway enters next phase of construction

Progress is being made on the construction of the new multi-use pathway on Silver Star Road., but the current work will have some impact on traffic.

Work is now underway on the final grading as crews prepare to pave the section between Blackcomb Way and BX Elementary School.

The current phase of the project requires a temporary detour for northbound traffic during construction hours, though southbound traffic will still be able to use Silver Star Road during the day.

The road will be open in both directions outside construction hours.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in construction and detour zones and to obey all traffic control measures.
