COVID-19 outbreak at Armstrong’s Pleasant Valley Manor

Interior Health is reporting an outbreak of COVID-19 at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong.

IH says the outbreak was declared Wednesday, Sept. 14, and is affecting the entire long-term care centre.

Pleasant Valley Manor is a complex-care facility for seniors with 81 permanent beds and one respite bed.

This is the second outbreak in the North Okanagan in less than a week, as Vernon’s Polson Special Care Unit was declared an outbreak site on Sept. 9.
