Lacrosse flooring tried out at Kal Tire Place North

New flooring for lacrosse games will be tried out this weekend at Kal Tire Place North in Vernon.
City administration says the ‘turf flooring,’ which was acquired from the Langley Events Centre, will be installed and test fitted for the first time this weekend, April 1 and 2.
“This will give staff an opportunity to gain some experience with the flooring, determine how many people are required and how much time it takes setting up and removing the flooring,” said a city administration update to Vernon council.
The turf flooring will also be installed the weekend of April 14–16 for a B.C. Lacrosse Identification Camp, a senior Tigers lacrosse exhibition game, and for the North Okanagan Minor Lacrosse Association to test out the playing surface prior to hosting the Bantam Provincials.
