Vipers fall to Warriors 5-2 at home
The West Kelowna Warriors moved into third place in the BCHL’s Interior Division after a 5-2 road win over the Vernon Vipers Wednesday night.
South Surrey product John Evans led the Warriors with a hat trick while Johnny Derrick made 25 saves for the win in goal.
The only Viper to hit the back of the net was Jack Glen before a weeknight crowd of 1,410 at Kal Tire Place. Roan Clarke was tagged with the loss, making 24 stops.
The Vipers head north to take on the Prince George Spruce Kings Friday at 7:00 p.m. on 107.5 Beach Radio and then host the Cranbrook Bucks Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
