Spruce Kings edge Vipers in shootout

The Vernon Viers picked up a point on their trip to Prince George, falling 3-2 to the Spruce Kings on Friday night at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
Simon Labelle was the only one to score in the shootout, sending the 716 fans in attendance home happy.
Logan Lorenz and Luke Buss got the Viper goals while Roan Clarke made 23 saves in the Vernon net.
The Vipers made the long bus trip home and will visit the West Kelowna Warriors Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., with the game on 107.5 Beach Radio and Vernon Matters starting at 6:45.
