Wild take first game against Vipers in OT

The Wenatchee Wild took the first end of a two game series against the Vernon Vipers with a 3-2 win in overtime at Kal Tire Place Friday night.

Cade Stubbe scored the winner 26 seconds into the first overtime, taking advantage of a strange bounce off the glass, before a crowd of 1,225 fans.

Luke Buss had forced the extra time after tying it up for Vernon with two minutes to go in the third period.

Ryan Shostak added the Vipers other goal.
