UPDATE: Five person race in North Okanagan-Shuswap, forum on Sept. 8
The Conservative MP for the North Okanagan-Shuswap will be up against at least three challengers in the Sept. 20 federal election, which was called on Sunday.
Mel Arnold will be seeking his third term after winning in a landslide over the Liberal candidate in 2019, garnering 48 per cent of the votes.
The other declared candidates so far are Kyle Delfing of the People’s Party (update), Shelley Desautels of the Liberals, Andrea Gunner of the Green Party and Ron Johnston of the New Democratic Party.
