Athletics Park track gets fresh look

If you use the Greater Vernon Athletic Park for exercise, your routine may be disrupted the next while.

The Regional District of North Okanagan says a project to re-paint the track is scheduled to start today and will take two weeks.

There will be limited access to the track and field areas during the first week, and a full closure for the second week.

RDNO says no track or field slots will be available to book during this time.

The GVAP opened Sept. 26, 2015 with a final price tag of $8.5 million.
