NANAIMO — Check your Lotto Max tickets.

While no $70 million jackpot was won during the Tuesday, June 15 Lotto Max draw, two sizable prices were earned by Island players.

Playnow.com showed 42 winners won $1 million prizes from the draw, including a player who bought a ticket in Campbell River.

The website also showed a ticket in Nanaimo is worth $500,000.

The winner will become at least the 18th person to win $500,000 or more on a lottery ticket purchased in Nanaimo since 2012.

The $70 million prize will be back up for grabs on Friday, June 18, which requires correctly selecting seven numbers.

It will be the fifth consecutive time the maximum jackpot is on offer.
